Our journey began with Amaryllis Preschool, which opened in 2014 at Kings Road  Primary School.  Our preschool caters for children aged 2-3 years and supports transitions into Kings Primary School and surrounding schools.

Following the redevelopment  of Old Trafford library, our purpose built nursery opened in 2017 as part of the  Limelight complex and offers full time day care, 8am - 6pm,  51 weeks of the year.  Our nursery is based within the Limelight complex via the Shrewsbury Street entrance.

We are fortunate to have daily access to Old Trafford Library, the onsite cafe, and the 4D immersive space.  Our nursery children regularly partakes in intergenerational activities with live in residents, which also include weekly String of Heart music sessions. 

Our nursery has many returning parents and our team are dedicated to nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning. With a focus on holistic development and tailored care, we strive to create a supportive environment where children can thrive.

We follow a child-led approach to learning, where the interests and needs of the children guide our curriculum and activities. Our experienced practitioners create engaging learning environments that promote play and exploring, creativity, active learning and  problem-solving skills . We recognise the importance of building strong partnerships with families and strive to involve parents in their child's learning journey through parent engagement activities, parent meetings and online learning journals.

Our day nursery was inspected by Ofsted in 2020, receiving a ‘good’ grading.
